James Van Der Beek wed girlfriend Kimberly Brook on Sunday, the actor announced on Twitter.
“The woman I love did me the honor of became my wife today… I look forward to earning her for the rest of my life,” the former Dawson’s Creek star Tweeted.
Earlier in the day, the 33-year-old actor Tweeted, “Best day of my life so far…”
In April, the happy couple announced they were expecting on James’ Twitter, saying, “Yes, it’s true – the woman I love and I are expecting our first child.”
In March, James finalized his divorce from Heather Ann McComb, to whom he was married for six years.
The actor’s wedding announcement was just one of many celebrity nuptials to take place over the weekend. Former First Daughter Chelsea Clinton and Marc Mezvinsky walked down the aisle in Rhinebeck, N.Y. and Alicia Keys and Swizz Beatz wed at a private home in the Mediterranean Sea.
