Jamie Dornan Tired Of Tying Women Up

“Fifty Shades of Grey” isn’t even out yet, but Jamie Dornan is already hoping to have a bit of a reprieve from tying women to bed posts.

“There are a couple of classic knots I know now,” the actor told the UK’s Guardian newspaper, in a new interview, published on Monday.

“I’ve put them to good use far too many times recently,” he continued. “In fact, I’d like to do a job where I don’t have to tie women to beds.”

As Christian Grey, Jamie is expeted to tie up Dakota Johnson’s Anastasia Steele in “Fifty Shades,” and he also ties up his victims in an entirely different role as a serial killer in “The Fall” (available to U.S. viewers on Netflix).

Currently filming Season 2 of “The Fall” in Belfast (with Gillian Anderson), Jamie is poised for stardom with the big screen adaptation of E L James’ “Fifty Shades,” which is due out on February 13, 2015.

As fans of the actor know, he had some pretty high profile modelling gigs in his past, and Jamie said he still can’t escape them, despite the “Once Upon a Time” alum’s growing acting resume.

“I think I’ve done two shoots in my underwear ever. They both happened to be for Calvin Klein. But that tag – underwear model – I just can’t get rid of it,” he told the UK newspaper. “And it’s such a bizarre, specific thing – underwear. It’s like I never modelled clothes.”
