Jenni “JWoww” Farley wants to be a mom someday, but seeing best friend Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi pregnant has pushed her biological clock back a bit.
“[Snooki] handles it very well, but it did make me realize that you can’t be selfish anymore,” JWoww told Access Hollywood at a junket for their new reality show, “Snooki & JWoww,” in New York City on Thursday. “Nicole is preparing to give birth to a beautiful baby boy but she has to dedicate her life and her routine to him.”
At just 26, JWoww said watching Snooki’s body change due to pregnancy has been a wakeup call regarding the endless responsibilities that come with parenting.
“I want to be selfish just a little bit longer – [it] made me kind of put a chastity belt on!” she told Access. “It gave me the itch to wait a while.”
Despite Snooki’s penchant for partying, the pint-size reality star has easily given it all up for her baby, and JWoww said she’s proud of how her best friend has handled giving up cocktails and dealing with hormones.
“She’s actually an amazing pregnant person,” she said.
“Snooki & JWoww” premieres on Thursday, June 21 at 10 PM on MTV.
