Jennifer Aniston On Turning 40 & ‘Friends’ Reunion

Jennifer Aniston says she’s not bothered about her upcoming birthday, where she will turn 40 – that is, until she found something that brought tears to her eyes.

“I have to say, really, I feel better than I ever felt in my life,” the actress told Ellen during an appearance on the “The Ellen DeGeneres Show,” airing Friday. “I did have a moment though over the weekend, my first like, ‘Huh…I don’t want to (turn 40).’ I found a really long gray hair and it kind of flipped me out. It’s not my first, but it’s the fact that it was so long. I was like, ‘Oh, that’s been there? How many others are there? And, what does that mean?’”

In fact, the discovery of the gray hair even got Jen a little emotional.

“It actually brought me to tears slightly,” she added.

Jen told Ellen that her former “Friends” co-star, Courteney Cox, and husband David Arquette would be among the guests at her party, but remained mum if boyfriend John Mayer would attend after Ellen showed Jen a photo of John in his infamous green thong bathing suit.

Ellen surprised Jen with a visit to the “Friends” set on the Warner Bros. lot, where the actress stepped into “Central Perk” for the first time since wrapping the hit NBC series. Ellen asked Jen about doing a possible reunion episode.

“Maybe…Like one [episode],” Jen told Ellen. “It wouldn’t hurt.”

“A movie?” Ellen asked.

“Not a movie. I just think what would they do?” the actress said. “I think one of our Thanksgiving episodes were always so fun.”
