Jennifer Lawrence: ‘In Hollywood, I’m Obese’

Jennifer Lawrence won’t play Hollywood’s “Hunger Game.”

The 22-year-old star of “The Hunger Games” trilogy is slamming Hollywood’s idea about what is beautiful and just how much a leading lady should weigh.

“In Hollywood, I’m obese,” the actress, who appears on the cover of ELLE’s December issue, explained.

“I’m considered a fat actress,” she continued. “I’m Val Kilmer in that one picture on the beach.”

The beauty says she will not go down the path many other Hollywood women have had to endure.

“I’m never going to starve myself for a part… I don’t want little girls to be like, ‘Oh, I want to look like Katniss, so I’m going to skip dinner’” she told the mag. “[I want my] body to look fit and strong – not thin and underfed.”

The actress also opened up about her relationship with fellow actor Nicholas Hoult, best known for his role as Beast in “X-Men: First Class.”

”[He] is honestly my best friend too. He’s my favorite person to be around and makes me laugh harder than anybody,” she

said.
And the couple appears to have a lot in common – except when it comes to one area.

Adding, “We can eat Cheetos and watch beach volleyball and we turn into two perverted Homer Simpsons, like, ‘Oh, she’s got a nice a**.’ I never thought we’d have such different opinions on a**es.”
