Jennifer Lawrence Nearly Falls At ‘X-Men’ Premiere

Jennifer Lawrence almost made her red carpet trip-and-fall a three-peat!

The actress was photographed nearly falling as she tried to navigate a set of stairs in heels at the “X-Men: Days of Future Past” premiere in New York City on Saturday.

Fortunately (unlike her two Oscar falls!), the 23-year-old had two assistants within arm’s reach who saved her from teetering over in her shimmering blue Jimmy Wu dress.

The actress spoke out about her red carpet klutziness in Marie Claire’s June issue, saying, “I’m trying to do the right thing, waving to fans, trying to be nice, and there’s a traffic cone. The second I hit it, I was laughing, but on the inside I was like, ‘You’re f**ked. They’re totally going to think this is an act…,’” she said, of her second Academy Awards fall.

“But trust me if I was going to plan it, I would have done it at the Golden Globes or the SAGs,” she continued. “I would have never done it at two Oscars in a row. I watch ‘Homeland’ – I’m craftier than that!”
