Jennifer Lawrence Style File (Glam Slam)

Jennifer Lawrence has been making the global rounds promoting “The Hunger Games: Catching Fire.” Naturally, the Dior Spokesperson has been wearing lots of Dior. In London on Monday, it was Dior Haute Couture with a very unique and unusual gown that was white satin business in the back and Candyland party in the front!

In Berlin the next day, she wore a Dior pale blue cotton embroidered and printed coat. In Madrid, she rocked a Dior navy bustier gown for the premiere after a photo call, where she was all Katniss Everdeen in a body-con bright blue and white Alexander McQueen ensemble from the Spring 2014 Collection. Her parade of looks have been accessorized with her new sassy short ‘do.

But Jennifer has been making headlines this week for more than what she’s wearing. The outspoken actress has come out swinging against the media for the unrealistic expectations it puts on women.

“I think when girls are just mean to each other and think that we are just so unsupportive,” Jennifer told us. “When I watch these shows and the media and I watch the women on these televisions shows, pointing to these women and judging them and calling them ugly and calling them fat and it’s just like, where have we come, why are we here, why are we doing this to each other?”

She goes on to say, “I think that women who are not supportive of other women are probably what makes me the most angry, but I was also a teenager that was watching the older women who are role models and these celebrities and looking up to them I think that the media does turn a blind eye to the responsibility that we have set a good example for how to talk to each other and how to relate to each other.”

You go, Jen! I love that she’s taking a stand against negative body images. Her honesty is refreshing in our airbrushed age. I’ve always thought Jennifer is a talented actress and gorgeous to boot. Her comments just go to show that she’s just as beautiful on the inside as the out. She’s the whole package.
