Jenny McCarthy: ‘I Deserve To Be Happy’

Jenny McCarthy showed off her sexy side while promoting her new book, “Love, Lust & Faking It,” on Thursday’s Access Hollywood, but in Part 2 of Billy Bush’s interview with the star, she revealed her reflective side, sharing more than ever about her break-up with Jim Carrey.

“Something I’ve learned in leaving any relationship — if I blame the other person and if I blame Jim for any reason for the break-up, I lost the lesson in it,” Jenny told Billy.

Jenny and Jim seemed like a match made in Hollywood heaven, but after five years, they pulled the plug, announcing the news in April 2010 on Twitter. The only reason Jenny gave – it wasn’t fun any more.

“I deserve to be happy and I think a lot of people stay in relationships for wrong reasons and instead of just looking at each other and just saying, you know it’s like sands of the hourglass, we learned our lessons, we can end in war or we can end in peace,” she said.

The pair announced their break-up on Twitter shortly before a magazine went with the story.

“We thought it was a really sweet — kind of bow out in the new age of social media,” Jenny said of Tweeting the news.

Social media might come in handy again. In her new book, Jenny dished the dirt on her early sex life and admitted to searching for her high school sweetheart on Twitter and Facebook.

“I’ve been on the search for Tony Lo Bianco who was my first love and he really is my example of… As I continue on this journey of like trying to find love… I go back to how Tony loved me and that’s what I’m trying to look for again,” Jenny said. “But I haven’t found him.”
