Jenny McCarthy Talks Split With Jim Carrey & The Possibility Of Getting Back Together

Five months after Jenny McCarthy and Jim Carrey both announced their split on Twitter, the blonde actress has finally opened up about what went wrong.

In a new interview on “The Oprah Winfrey Show,” set to air on Tuesday, Oprah asked Jenny when she knew the relationship was over.

“You know, the simple word I can give — and there’s a few — but the first thing is when it’s not fun anymore you need to start investigating and do an inquiry into the relationship,” Jenny explained.

In additional clips, released on Monday ahead of the new interview airing, Jenny who is promoting her new book, “Love, Lust and Faking It,” said she did a lot of self reflection.

“My identification wasn’t caught up on having to being a celebrity’s girlfriend,” she said.

“It wasn’t?” Oprah asked.

Jenny went on to tell the talk show host that she is fine without having the celebrity boyfriend attachment.

“I did check on that by the way. I checked into myself, ‘How does my ego feel about not having?’… My ego’s fine. I’m a warrior mom,” she said. “I know especially this year who I am.”

When asked if there was a possibility that the couple might get back together, Jenny didn’t know what to say.

“That’s another good question,” she said.

“I didn’t even think about that one though,” she added.
