Jesse James has called the day he revealed his engagement to “LA Ink’s” Kat Von D “epic.”
“Epic day comes to an end,” the “Monster Garage” star Tweeted late last night.
“Closing my eyes to dream about @thekatvond,” he added, linking to a photo of his new fiancee.
Kat, a tattoo artist, Tweeted back some romantic musings of her own.
”@FreeJesseJames if I’m lucky I’ll get to dream with you tonight.. But not before I work on ur Valentines,” the tattoo artist Tweeted back.
On Friday, Jesse continued his praise for his ladylove, responding to a Kat fan who Tweeted, “isn’t she the most beautiful girl in the world,” with a short response.
“Yes she is,” Jesse wrote.
In related Jesse and Kat news, Radar Online reported on Friday that the pair is planning to tie the knot next month.
“Jesse and Kat don’t see any reason why they should wait to trade vows,” a source close to the couple told the website.
“They are madly in love with each other and want to make everything official,” the source added.
According to the website, the pair have already started getting the details together for the big day, which is expected to happen outside of California.

As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, less than a year after splitting with Oscar winner Sandra Bullock, and following an infidelity scandal on his part, Jesse revealed he is engaged to Kat, on Thursday.
“You know sometimes the public and press gets it wrong. This is one of those times. 2010 was actually the best year of my life because I fell in love with my best friend. An amazing woman who stood behind me when the world turned their backs,” Jesse said in a statement.
“I have never met anyone so kind and loving and committed to making the world a better place every day,” he continued. “My love for her is beyond description. So honored that she said ‘yes.’”
Kat Von D confirmed her relationship with Jesse in September 2010, after he finalized his divorce from Sandra Bullock in June after he admitted to being unfaithful.
“This is definitely something that I think we weren’t expecting, and it’s been great,” the “LA Ink” star told Access Hollywood at the time.
