Kat Von D and Jesse James have broken up – again.
“I am not in a relationship,” the tattoo artist and former “LA Ink” star wrote in a post published on her Facebook page on Friday night. “And I apologize for all the ‘back and forth’ if it’s caused any confusion.”
Kat also shot down rumors that she may be moving to Texas (where Jesse lives).
“I am not in any way moving to Texas,” she wrote. “And I am not leaving my shop here in Los Angeles, High Voltage Tattoo.”
As for why the pair went their separate ways for a second time, Kat told People.com, “It was clear to me that we were just on two different paths in life.
“My friend put it best when he said I could never be more deserving of total, noble love,” she continued. “And as a woman, I think it’s important to know your value and never lose sight of that.”
As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, the on-again, off-again couple — who became engaged in January — first called off their engagement just two short months ago.
“I am no longer w Jesse,” Kat Tweeted in July. “And out of respect for him, his family and myself, that’s all the info I’d like to share.
“Thanks for respecting that,” the 29-year-old reality star continued in the Tweet.
Then, in August, the now-defunct duo rekindled their romance and their engagement.
“Sometimes you are only given one chance in life,” Jesse told the People.com at the time, confirming that he and Kat were back on. “It was up to me to open my eyes and see it. That girl is my chance. I will never stop fighting and striving to hold on to her. Showing her how special she is, and how much I love her.”
