Jessica Biel’s ‘Powder Blue’ Headed Straight To DVD

Jessica Biel fans won’t have to go to the theater to see the actress’ new film – it’s going straight to DVD.

“Powder Blue,” which stars Biel as a stripper alongside Ray Liotta, Forest Whitaker, Patrick Swayze and Lisa Kudrow, will not be released in theaters, Access Hollywood has confirmed.

Image Entertainment will release the DVD on May 26.

“Powder Blue” follows the lives of four people, whose paths become intertwined by chance on Christmas Eve.

Biel was last seen on the big screen in the 2007 comedy “I Now Pronounce You Chuck & Larry.” Her other upcoming projects include the romantic comedy “Easy Virtue” alongside Ben Barnes and Colin Firth; and the political satire “Nailed,” co-starring Jake Gyllenhaal and James Marsden.

She will also appear live on stage at the Hollywood Bowl this summer in “Guys & Dolls In Concert,” beginning in late July.

Jessica isn’t the only recent starlet whose latest release won’t hit theaters.

As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, Lindsay Lohan’s comedy “Labor Pains” will premiere on ABC Family in July 2009, with a DVD release a month later.
