Jessica Simpson’s divorce from ex-husband Nick Lachey and splits with John Mayer, Dallas Cowboy quarterback Tony Romo and reportedly, rocker Billy Corgan, have taught the singer a thing or two about love – and now she’s sharing it with her Twitter followers.
“You can’t love someone else to change them,” Jessica Tweeted on Sunday. “Happiness comes from accepting who they are. It is our decision to REALLY know who we love.”
This isn’t the first time Jess has Tweeted about love and relationships.
Just days after Tony broke up with the singer the night before her 29th birthday, Jess took to her Twitter telling her fans that she remained positive.
“everyone needs to know that hope floats,” she wrote in July 2009. “Grab the strings and pull it back to you.”
Jess will take her upbeat attitude to “The Oprah Winfrey Show” on Wednesday and her new reality series for VH-1, “The Price of Beauty,” which premieres on March 15.
