Jessica Simpson & Eric Johnson Wedding: The Details!

Jessica Simpson is a married woman, once again!

Jessica — wearing a custom Carolina Herrera gown — and Eric Johnson tied the knot on Saturday in front of friends and family at San Ysidro Ranch in Montecito, Calif. (about 100 miles northwest of Los Angeles).

The bride walked down the aisle by herself as her father, Joe Simpson, performed the marriage, a source who attended the event told Access Hollywood.

The newlyweds did not have a first dance at the reception, the source added.

“We are overwhelmed with complete happiness and love having made our eternal commitment,” Jessica and Eric said in a statement to People magazine on Saturday. “To say ‘I do’ in front of family, friends, and most importantly, our children has been the happiest moment of our lives.”

Among those in attendance on Saturday included Jessica’s mom and dad — Tina and Joe Simpson – along with sister Ashlee Simpson and her fiance Evan Ross, as well as Jessica’s best friend CaCee Cobb and her husband, Donald Faison, in addition to Jessica Alba and husband Cash Warren.

Jessica and Eric’s two kids – daughter Maxwell, 2; and son Ace, 13 months — were a big part of the ceremony, as Ace served as a ring bearer while Maxwell walked down the aisle as a flower girl.

In June, the couple hosted a low-key co-ed bachelor/bachelorette party at Warwick in Los Angeles, where 40 of the couple’s closest friends and family joined the celebration.

The nuptials came after a lengthy engagement – the singer, 33, and the former NFL star, 34, got engaged back in November 2010.

Following Eric’s proposal, Jessica visited Access Hollywood Live, where she told Billy Bush and Kit Hoover all about her man popping the question.

“It was at my house and it was very romantic. We actually met at my house, so he proposed to me where we met,” Jessica explained at the time. “We met through mutual friends, very random, but (it was) the best meeting of my life.”

As it turns out, Jessica was so surprised by the proposal, it took her a moment to focus on the ring.

“I forgot to even look at the ring! I was so shocked in that moment that I had to sit down on his knee and catch my cool. I did not expect it at all,” she continued. “We were both like balling and crying, it was an amazing moment. I just didn’t expect that moment to happen so soon. We had talked about getting married, but I didn’t know that he’d already gone to my dad three weeks before that and to my mom. Everybody kept it a big secret in the Simpson family, which is not a normal thing.”

This marks the second marriage for both Jessica and Eric.

Jessica was previously married to Nick Lachey from 2002 – 2006. Eric separated from his first wife, stylist Keri Johnson, in 2010 after five years of marriage.
