Jessica Simpson Feeling ‘Inspired’ To Get Healthy

Jessica Simpson is keeping her over five million Twitter followers in the loop as she works with Weight Watchers to shed her excess baby weight.

The singer-turned-fashion mogul reportedly gained nearly 70 pounds during her pregnancy with baby girl Maxwell Drew, but is feeling motivated to push forward with her fitness goals.

“What we put in our bodies mirrors our Self-Worth!” the 31-year-old new mom Tweeted on Wednesday night. “#INSPIRED.”

In addition to being photographed regularly at the gym, Jess has given up her favorite cocktails – margaritas and scotch – for a calorie-free beverage.

“Responsibility has drastically changed my life! Saturday night drink of choice…. WATER! :)” she Tweeted earlier this week.

And Maxwell’s mom is also trying to help her fellow weight loss hopefuls attain their goals.

Last month, she gave the group a tool to help measure their everyday exercise.

“Just bought all the girls in my @weightwatchers group pedometers to track their steps,” Jessica wrote. “10,000 steps a day = 5 miles! Let’s step it up!”
