Jessica Simpson and fiance Eric Johnson are the proud parents of a baby boy.
“Ace Knute (pronounced Ka-nute) Johnson has arrived! Mom and baby are doing great,” Jessica’s rep said in a statement to Us Weekly. “Jessica, Eric and Maxwell are thrilled to welcome the new addition to their family.”
The little boy – whose middle name comes from Eric’s paternal grandfather, Knute Johnson – was born on Sunday afternoon in Los Angeles, via scheduled c-section, the rep added.
Ace is the second child for Jessica, 32, and Eric, 33, who got engaged in November 2010 and welcomed daughter Maxwell Drew in May 2012.
Just seven months after Maxwell’s birth (on Christmas Day 2012), the “Fashion Star” mentor revealed she was expecting another baby.
And in March, the adorable star let it slip that she was carrying a boy (in the most Jessica way possible, of course).
During an appearance on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” at the time, the fashion mogul was lamenting the difficulty of her second pregnancy versus her first when she blurted out, “The crazy thing is I never knew a wiener could make me nauseous!”
After host Jimmy Kimmel burst out laughing, Jessica playfully swatted at him, saying, “Oh shush!”
“Well, I guess I just told the world that I’m having a boy!” she added.
