Just because it’s her second wedding doesn’t mean Jessica Simpson is going to shy away from planning a big bash when she marries Eric Johnson!
The soon-to-be bride opened up about her impending nuptials during a visit to the “Today” show on Monday.
“It’ll definitely be extravagant,” she told Savannah Guthrie of her wedding. “I don’t do things small.”
The singer-turned-fashion mogul’s designer line is about to branch out to include baby clothes and a home goods line. When asked why she thinks her clothing and shoes have been so wildly successful, Jessica said her experiences with fluctuating weight have helped her understand what women look for when shopping.
“Well, I think that I can relate to every woman out there. I have been every size there is, so I know how to dress every body type,” she said. “I truly believe that it’s not just about high fashion.”
Adding, “We all need pieces in our wardrobe that are fashionable but accessible, wearable, you know, and affordable. I think that that’s really what has made the brand such a success.”
As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, Jessica and Eric, who have two children together, will reportedly tie the knot over the July 4 weekend in Santa Barbara, Calif.
The couple got engaged in November 2010.
