Jill Duggar & Derick Dillard Wed

It’s official – Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard are married!

The couple shared their first kiss ever in front of more than 1,000 friends and family members as they tied the knot on Saturday, People reported.

The newlyweds, featured on TLC’s “19 Kids & Counting,” wed at the Cross Church in Springdale, Arkansas (Jill’s hometown), according to the mag.

Many Duggar family members were included in the wedding party – five of Jill’s sisters were bridesmaids, two brothers were groomsmen, five brothers were ushers, her sisters and a niece were flower girls, and a brother and nephew split ring-bearer duties, the mag reported.

Jill’s dad, Jim Bob, felt especially emotional on Saturday, as the wedding marks the first of his daughters to get married.

“It really hit me that Jill was leaving as she was packing her bag the other night,” he told the mag. “We all realized she was really leaving. We are so glad that Derick is an answer to her prayers. It’s an emotional time, but a joyful time.”

And in more happy news, Derick’s mom (who is battling cancer and was too ill to attend the rehearsal dinner on Friday), was able to make it to the church for the wedding, the mag reported.

The newlyweds will honeymoon at an undisclosed location, according to the mag.
