Jim Carrey: Dumb & Dumber Sequel Happening ‘Hopefully Next Year’

Jim Carrey is hoping to get even “Dumber” once again!

The actor spoke with Access Hollywood at the premiere of his latest comedy, “The Incredible Burt Wonderstone,” about reprising his Lloyd Christmas role in a “Dumb & Dumber” sequel.

“We’re talking about it,” he told Access, about a follow-up to the 1994 comedy hit with Jeff Daniels.

“Jeff and I are really excited about it and hopefully next year we’ll be able to do that [and] get it together,” he continued.

Access suggested that “Burt Wonderstone” co-star Olivia Wilde could appear in the sequel.

“Oh yeah? You’re doing the casting for me now are ya!” he joked. “Well, everybody should show up for this then. You never know, they could be in the movie. [Olivia is] wonderful though. She’s an amazing girl. It’s very rare when you see somebody who’s so talented and so beautiful with the heart of a homely girl.”

Catch Jim, Olivia along with Steve Carell and Steve Buscemi in “The Incredible Burt Wonderstone,” which hits theaters on March 15.
