Jimmy Fallon To Spoof ‘Empire’ On ‘Tonight Show’ With ‘Jimpire’

Lucious, Jamal, Dre and Hakeem better watch the Lyon throne – there’s about to be a new player in town!

Jimmy Fallon and the “Tonight Show” are about that “Empire” life. The late night host revealed on Twitter on Tuesday that he will parody the hit Fox musical drama tonight with a Fallon twist: “Jimpire.”

“Our Empire parody #JIMPIRE airs tonight!! 11:35pm ET on NBC!! Don’t miss it!!” Jimmy Tweeted on Tuesday, along with a gold and black faux-“Empire” logo featuring Jimmy’s face and the “Jimpire” logo.

We can’t wait to see who plays Taraji P. Henson’s Cookie in Jimmy’s version (and Anika “Boo Boo Kitty” and Porsha, for that matter).

“Jimpire” isn’t Jimmy’s first foray into TV show parodies.

Back in 2012, Jimmy had a segment dubbed “Downton Sixbey,” a “Downton Abbey” parody based on Jimmy’s 30 Rock TV studio, 6B.

The spoof featured many familiar faces, including, Brooke Shields, Fred Armisen, Whoopi Goldberg and Carson Daly.

Jimmy also took on “Breaking Bad” with “Joking Bad” and “Game of Thrones” with “Game of Desks.”
