Joan Collins ‘Misquoted’ On Jennifer Aniston & Angelina Jolie Beauty Comments

Joan Collins is setting the record straight on her recent comment about Jennifer Aniston and Angelina Jolie’s beauty.

“Well, as usual I was misquoted,” the 77-year-old former “Dynasty” siren told Access Hollywood’s Shaun Robinson at the 32nd Anniversary Carousel Of Hope Gala in Beverly Hills, Calif., over the weekend.

Last week, Joan made a remark about Jennifer and Angelina’s looks in an interview with UK’s Hello Magazine.

“When I was young, everybody on screen was gorgeous,” she reportedly told the mag. “I have to say, there aren’t that many good looking actresses around today. I mean, there’s Angelina Jolie and there’s… Angelina Jolie. Jennifer Aniston is cute, but I wouldn’t call her beautiful. She’s no Ava [Gardner] or Lana [Turner].”

However, Joan told Shaun that not all of her quote was printed.

“I was given a list of actresses, you know, and [was asked to] say something about [them,]” she explained. “I said a little thing about each of them, and of course, they took each of the other actresses out and just left those two names… I’m not going to go through the list of actresses again and I will never ever make another remark about another actress.”

Adding, “I also [said] Catherine Zeta-Jones, Scarlett Johansson, Megan Fox. There’s, you know, there’s a dozen of them and I mention them. That’s the way the cookie crumbles.”
