Joan & Melissa Rivers Unleashed! Duo Dish On Oscars, ‘Dancing,’ ‘Celebrity Apprentice’ & More!

AccessHollywood.com caught up Tuesday with a fully-recovered-from-the-Oscars Joan and Melissa Rivers, who let loose on a slew of topics including Oscar fashion, “Dancing with the Stars,” “Celebrity Apprentice” and their own reality show, “Joan & Melissa: Joan Knows Best?” Plus, we found out exactly what Joan thinks about Donald Trump considering a Presidential run?

“The most boring show I’ve ever seen! No surprises and no laughs!” Joan said of Sunday’s Oscars with hosts James Franco and Anne Hathaway.

“I found it uncomfortable,” Melissa said of the first time hosts. “But, I guess my final feeling is that it was very sort of innocuous.”

The co-host (Joan) and co-EP (Melissa) of E!‘s “Fashion Police” also served up their strong feelings about the night’s style winners and losers.

“I loved Sandra Bullock, Halle Berry,” Joan told Access.

“Hilary Swank, I thought, ‘What a movie star dress!’ Melissa added.

Joan also has some feisty words for Cate Blanchett, who wore a pale purple Givenchy gown to Sunday’s show.

“Cate Blanchett made Helena Bonham Carter almost look normal,” Joan said. “Cate Blanchett’s dress – maybe very subtlety – was a tribute to Kirk Douglas, who played Spartacus!”

The style duo offered the actress some advice for future award show looks.

“Just cuz it’s good on the runway – on a 6’ 6’’ model – doesn’t mean it’s going to look good on you, you little shrimp!” Joan said.

“Just because someone showed it in a fashion show doesn’t mean it’s good!” Melissa added.

When it comes to stars that most often get it right on the red carpet, Joan and Melissa gave kudos to Halle Berry, Nicole Kidman and Justin Timberlake for the guys.

Access also spoke to the mother-daughter pair about Monday’s “Dancing with the Stars” cast announcement and asked if either of them would ever consider competing for the mirrorball trophy.

“I’d do it in a second,” Joan told Access, explaining that she has never been approached. “The fun of it and what a great way to exercise! I (already) dance to and from Gucci… from the parking lot into Gucci.”

Melissa said she’d also be game to compete.

“I am not a dancer. Would I take on a challenge like that? Yes! Have they asked me? No!” Melissa explained. “It depends on how much humiliation I’m willing to put myself through because I am not a dancer.”

The former “Celebrity Apprentice” stars said they are also excited to see Donald Trump’s reality competition return to NBC on March 6 at 9 PM.

“It’s a band of brothers… It becomes your university,” Joan said of the series, advising this year crop of contestants to “trust no one and work like a dog!”

Joan also revealed that she would throw her support behind The Donald if he were to actually ever run for the White House.

“I think Donald can do anything, if he wants to be President, I’m on that bandwagon!” Joan told Access.

Finally, the outrageous duo gave us the scoop on tonight’s episode of “Joan & Melissa: Joan Knows Best?,” during which Joan jumps into the dating pool.

“I go on four dates, I hate to say it, but I think it’s the best episode of the show!,” Joan explained. “One guy jumps me, right f***ing smack on camera! We just let the cameras go with us, the four dates are really interesting.”

“Joan & Melissa: Joan Knows Best?” airs tonight on WEtv at 9 PM.

“Fashion Police” airs Friday nights on E! and Joan and Melissa’s special one-hour Oscar edition will re-air throughout this week.
