Joanna Garcia Engaged To Yankees Slugger Nick Swisher

Here’s something to “Gossip” about – Joanna Garcia and Nick Swisher are engaged.

The former “Gossip Girl” redhead, who sizzled with Chace Crawford in The CW show’s recent third season, will wed the New York Yankees right fielder, according to the New York Post.

Nick reportedly proposed on May 19.

“We kept it a secret for a while,” the slugger told the paper. “She was wearing that big rock, though.”

The baseball star, 29, confirmed that he and Joanna, 30, were dating last September.

Joanna will be back on TV this fall in ABC’s new sitcom “Better Together.”
