Jodie Foster Marries Girlfriend!

Jodie Foster can add a new title to her impressive resume – blushing bride!

Jodie and girlfriend Alexandra Hedison have tied the knot, her rep confirmed to Access Hollywood.

The couple – who started dating last summer — wed over the weekend.

The exciting news comes 15 months after Jodie took the stage at the 2013 Golden Globes to accept the Cecil B. DeMille Lifetime Achievement Award, and spoke publicly for the first time about her sexuality.

“There won’t be a big coming out speech tonight because I already did my coming out about a thousand years ago back in the Stone Age — in those very quaint days where a fragile young girl would open up to trusted friends and family and co-workers and then gradually, proudly, to everyone who knew her, who she actually met,” Jodie said at the time.

“But now, apparently, I’m told that every celebrity is expected to honor the details of their private life with a press conference, a fragrance, and a primetime reality show… I am not Honey Boo Boo,” she said, as the star-studded crowd laughed. “I have given everything up there since the time that I was 3 years old — that’s reality show enough, don’t you think?”

She wrapped up her speech by thanking her professional team, friends and her ex, Cydney Bernard.

“[Thank you] to my heroic co-parent, my ex-partner in love but righteous soul sister in life, my confessor, ski buddy… most beloved BFF of 20 years, Cydney Bernard,” she said. “Thank you, Cyd. I am so proud of our modern family.”

Alexandra – an actress/photographer – previously dated Ellen DeGeneres in the early 2000s. Her acting credits include three seasons on Showtime’s “The L Word” as Dylan Moreland.

E! Online first reported Jodie and Alexandra’s wedding news on Wednesday.
