Jodie Sweetin Reveals Secret Connection To ‘Glee’s’ Matthew Morrison; Talks Wedding Plans

All of America watched Jodie Sweetin grow up on TV as Stephanie Tanner in “Full House” and now, it’s her turn to watch someone else grow up in another way on the small screen – a former high school classmate who is turning into a superstar thanks to the success of “Glee” – Matthew Morrison.

“We both went to the Orange County High School of the Arts and were in the musical theater program together,” Jodie told Access Hollywood at the 24 Hour Hollywood Rush event in Los Angeles over the weekend of Matthew. “It’s great to see him doing so well with ‘Glee’ and it’s really fun to see people that you knew way back when.”

Jodie admitted the two haven’t kept in touch, but she’s enjoyed seeing him on the show – when the DVR allows.

“I’ve watched a couple episodes of it. I have hardly a chance to watch TV,” the mom of two said. “If it doesn’t get Tivo’d, I ain’t watching it.”

Jodie has had her hands full, having welcomed her second daughter, Beatrix, with fiancé Morty Coyle last fall and she said her little one is blossoming.

“She’s doing fantastic,” the actress said.

While she and Morty became engaged earlier this year, Jodie said they have no immediate plans to marry.

“We’re big supporters of marriage equality, so until everybody has the right to do this, we’re gonna hold off on [getting married],” she told Access.
