Joe Francis: Ashley Dupre ‘Dropping’ $10M Lawsuit Against ‘Girls Gone Wild’

Ashley Dupre is allegedly set to drop her $10 million lawsuit against Joe Francis – at least according to Francis.

Dupre was scheduled to give her deposition against Francis on Wednesday, however, Francis told Access Hollywood exclusively today that plans have changed.

“She is [going to be] a no show,” Francis told Access. “Her lawyer says that she is dropping it and issuing an apology to me.”

However, an attorney for Dupre tells a different story.

“The deposition was postponed weeks ago,” her Florida attorney Richard Wolfe told Access. “I am going on vacation for three weeks and when I return, we will re-set a new date. And if they settle, they settle. And God bless.”

Dupre, who was thrust into the national spotlight in the wake of the Eliot Spitzer prostitution scandal, had filed a $10 million lawsuit against the “Girls Gone Wild” founder, claiming Francis falsely advertised that she performed for his cameras, and falsely advertised its offer of a $1 million contract to Dupre.

Additionally, Dupre claims that Francis and the company he founded ruined her reputation.
