John Forsythe Still Hospitalized

LOS ANGELES (October 17, 2006) — “Dynasty” star John Forsythe is still in the hospital undergoing treatment for colon cancer, his spokesman said Tuesday.

“Initially he was supposed to go home over the weekend, but the doctors want to keep him for further treatment,” Harlan Boll said.

Forsythe, 88, was diagnosed with colon cancer Sept. 28. He started treatment last week.

Forsythe is perhaps best known for portraying wealthy patriarch Blake Carrington on the popular 1980s TV soap “Dynasty” and as the voice of the mysterious millionaire Charlie in the “Charlie’s Angels” films and TV show.
