John Goodman To Reunite With Roseanne Barr In New Sitcom?

It’s been nearly 15 years since John Goodman starred alongside Roseanne Barr in “Roseanne,” but the pair may soon be heading to the small screen together once again.

Goodman is close to finalizing a deal to star in Barr’s new comedy, “Downwardly Mobile,” a rep for Goodman confirmed to Access Hollywood on Saturday.

The 59-year-old actor would reportedly play a worker at Barr’s character’s mobile home park on the upcoming NBC pilot.

“Downwardly Mobile” centers around a blue-collar family living through hard times, much like the Connor family of Barr’s former self-titled sitcom, which enjoyed a nine-year run before its end in 1997.

Steven Greener, executive producer of the comedienne’s Lifetime reality show, “Roseanne’s Nuts” (which debuted last summer), will also serve as EP for the sitcom.
