John Stamos Says ‘Glee’ Is A ‘Dream Come True’; Aims For A Beach Boys-Themed Episode

John Stamos will soon make the “Glee” gals swoon — some with his sexy smile, and some with… laughing gas (as he plays a dashing new dentist in the comedy’s upcoming episode).

Either way, the handsome hunk says his new gig on the hit FOX series is “fantastic.”

“It’s a dream come true,” John told Access Hollywood on Friday, at Operation Smile’s 9th Annual Smile Gala in Los Angeles. “Every couple years, you know, these great things drop in my lap. It’s been fantastic.”

But the former “ER” star isn’t just showing up to recite his lines and head back to his trailer, he’s also bringing ideas to the table, including hopes for a Beach Boys-themed episode, and said he’s doing his part by dropping subtle hints to “Glee’s” co-creator/executive producer Ryan Murphy.

“I’m planting it in Ryan’s mind,” John smiled. “I walk by [singing], ‘The east coast girls are…’ — I put it in his head. The other day he was like, ‘We should do a Beach Boys episode,’ so I hope so.”

As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, fans will hear John sing soon.

Though the actor will not be singing on Tuesday’s Britney Spears-themed episode, he will soon lend his vocals to “Glee” for the second season’s fifth episode.

“The first show that I’m singing on is the ‘Rocky Horror’ show,” he told Access, before adding, “I’m not in the time warp.”

Catch John’s “Glee” debut on Tuesday, September 28, at 8 PM on FOX.
