Johnny Depp Delivers Rambling, Slurred Intro At HFAs (Watch)

Jack Sparrow or Johnny Depp? It was difficult to ascertain which one made an appearance at the Hollywood Film Awards on Friday night.

Johnny, 51, set the Internet ablaze when he delivered a rambling, slurred speech at the awards show held in Los Angeles.

The strange moment took place as Johnny was introducing Shep Gordon and presenting Mike Myers with the Hollywood Documentary Award for his film “Supermensch: The Legend of Shep Gordon.”

After appearing wobbly on his way up to the mic, the actor said, “That’s the weirdest microphone I’ve ever seen. I’m not really good at this kind of thing,” while seeming to have trouble standing, and uttering expletives which were bleeped.

Mike Myers didn’t seem bothered by Johnny’s botched intro, and reportedly told reporters backstage that the moment was “very rock ‘n’ roll.”
