Jon Hamm & Jennifer Westfeldt Split After 18 Years

The summer of celebrity splits continues.

Jon Hamm and Jennifer Westfeldt are going their separate ways after nearly two decades together, according to People.

“With great sadness, we have decided to separate, after 18 years of love and shared history,” the couple said in a joint statement released on Monday. “We will continue to be supportive of each other in every way possible moving forward.”

The “Mad Men” star, 44, and the actress/screenwriter, 45, last publicly stepped out together in late July for the premiere of Netflix’s “Wet Hot American Summer: First Day of Camp” in New York.

The couple has been plagued by breakup rumors for months and released a statement denying a split back in April.

Jennifer appeared on HBO’s “Girls” last year. She and Jon co-starred in 2011’s “Friends with Kids,” which Jennifer both wrote and directed.

In March, Jon’s rep revealed the actor had recently completed treatment for alcohol addiction.

Jon had the full support of Jennifer in his struggle, the rep said at the time.

Other notable celebrity couples who’ve split this summer include Megan Fox and Brian Austin Green, Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton, Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale, Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner, Zayn Malik and Perrie Edwards, and Avril Lavigne and Chad Kroeger.
