Jonah Hill’s ‘Saturday Night Live’ Hosting Motto: ‘You Just Try Not To Fall On Your Face!’

Jonah Hill heads back to the helm of “Saturday Night Live” this weekend and he’s hoping to stand strong when he hits the stage.

“You just try not to fall on your face,” Jonah told Access Hollywood of his plan for when he returns to the “SNL” fold as host. “I think I did pretty well the first time, but now it’s [the] sophomore slump. [I’ve] got to get over the sophomore slump.”

The “Moneyball” Best Supporting Actor nominee said it was fun to visit with his old pals from his first time hosting in 2008, who now have graduated from newbies and are simply the seasoned professionals.

“When I first started to pop a little bit, that’s when Kristen [Wiig] and Bill [Hader] and Andy [Samberg] all got on the show, all around the same time, and so now they’re all veterans,” he said. “Now that I’m back a second time… there’s a bunch of new people who are hilarious and awesome, and I’m just excited to get to walk amongst giants for a week.”

Last time Jonah was on “SNL” he had a make out session and while he isn’t sure if kissing is on the cards, he did hint at an upcoming skit.

“I don’t know if I make out with anyone this go around… It’s too early in the week. I’m accused of having sex with Fred Armisen, playing a monkey — not to give too much away. It’s alleged. It’s not totally grounded in truth yet, we’ll see what happens.”

As for whether his “21 Jump Street” co-star will make an appearance, Jonah said that too has not been determined.

“I think Channing’s coming to the show, maybe I’ll be able to sneak him in somewhere,” he said.
