Attorney Says Charge Against Josh Brolin To Be Dropped

An attorney for actors Josh Brolin and Jeffrey Wright says prosecutors have agreed to drop all charges in an incident at a Louisiana bar last year.

Brolin, Wright and five crew members of the Oliver Stone film “W.” were arrested on misdemeanor charges at the Stray Cat Club on July 12. Brolin and Wright were charged with interfering with police officers after a disturbance involving a crew member broke out.

Police: Video Taken of Josh Brolin & Jeffrey Wright During Brawl

Police said Wednesday they have video of a bar brawl in which members of a crew filming an Oliver Stone movie — including actors Josh Brolin and Jeffrey Wright — were arrested.

Police Chief Henry Whitehorn told The Times of Shreveport he is reviewing the case and will submit it to the city prosecutor’s office, which will decide whether to proceed with charges.

Actors Josh Brolin and Jeffrey Wright were arrested during a bar fight early Saturday morning in Shreveport, Louisiana, according to the Shreveport Times.

Both men were in Shreveport filming Oliver Stone’s “W.” In the film, Brolin plays President George W. Bush.
