Josh Duhamel might be spending “New Year’s Eve” with a slew of stars, but if things ever got tense on the set between the Garry Marshall-directed film’s leading men, Josh likes his chances in a game of fisticuffs against his fellow Hollywood hunks.
“Could you beat up Ashton Kutcher?” radio host Dan Patrick asked Josh, during an interview on Wednesday for “The Dan Patrick Show.”
“I don’t know. He’s pretty wiry,” Josh joked of his “New Year’s Eve” co-star.
While Josh wasn’t willing to predict a beatdown on the former “Punk’d” star, his wife didn’t seem to have a problem backing up her man.
“Well, he’d definitely beat [Ashton] in a modeling competition,” Fergie chimed in.
As for a scuffle, the Black Eyed Peas’ frontwoman also liked Josh’s odds.
“My husband’s an athlete, so I would say yes. Sorry Ashton,” she laughed.
What about going up against some of his younger contemporaries?
“What about Zac Efron? Could you pound Zac Efron?” Dan asked Josh.
“Well, I’ve got a weight advantage on him, for sure. So, I’d probably just have to lean on him a little bit,” Josh noted.
“New Year’s Eve” – starring Josh, Ashton, Zac, as well as Lea Michele, Robert De Niro, Michelle Pfeiffer, Sarah Jessica Parker, Halle Berry, Katherine Heigl, Sofia Vergara and many more A-list stars, but minus any fist fights (at least, that we know of) — is scheduled to hit theaters in December.
