Josh Hartnett Rushed To Emergency Room

Actor Josh Hartnett was rushed to the emergency room early Monday morning, Access Hollywood has confirmed.

“Josh Hartnett walked into an ambulance at approximately 1:45 AM this morning suffering from a flare-up of a gastro-intestinal problem that plagued him while he was starring in the west end of London during the production of ‘Rain Man,’” Hartnett’s rep said in a statement released to Access.

Adding, “He is under observation but is resting comfortably.”

The LA City Fire Department confirmed to Access Hollywood that a 911 call came in at 12:53 AM on Monday from the Chateau Marmont hotel in West Hollywood for someone complaining of abdominal pains. The rep could not confirm the identity of the person transported as Hartnett.

After arriving, an ambulance transported the person to an LA area hospital, a rep for LA City Fire told Access.

A RadarOnline source claimed that Hartnett “looked pale, dirty and disheveled” and that he “stumbled around the hotel bar” on Friday night. The source added, “he didn’t appear to be drinking, but he wasn’t himself. He looked troubled. He didn’t seem to have anyone with him.”

According to Variety, production on Harnett’s latest movie, “Queen Of The South,” co-starring Eva Mendes and Ben Kingsley, was halted last week when director Jonathan Jakubowicz claimed that a Mexican drug cartel threatened him for making the film.

RadarOnline was first to report the news of Hartnett’s illness.
