Former “Lost” star Josh Holloway is going back to school.
The easy-on-the-eyes actor will enroll with the gang on NBC’s “Community” for the upcoming season finale, the network announced on Tuesday.
In the two-part episode, Holloway will play a “mysterious figure, who emerges on the Greendale Community College campus when another game of paintball breaks out,” NBC revealed.
The two-part finale – which will air in May — finds the students of Greendale (Joel McHale, Gillian Jacobs, Chevy Chase, Danny Pudi, Donald Glover, Allison Brie and Yvette Nicole Brown) taking on another round of paintball warfare as a follow-up to last season’s
“Modern Warfare” episode, in which students battled it out in a seemingly post-apocalyptic campus setting for the ultimate prize – early class schedule registration.
Holloway, who is best known for role as James “Sawyer” Ford in ABC’s “Lost,” will also star in the upcoming big screen blockbuster “Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol,” alongside Tom Cruise and Jeremy Renner.
