Jude Law has been cleared of allegedly assaulting a paparazzo, according to People.
Law was arrested on September 4 for allegedly attacking a photographer outside of his London home. According to reports, the photographer accused Law of trying to grab his camera during a scuffle.
Following the incident, the 34-year-old actor voluntarily went to a West London police station where he was interviewed and released.
The case was then forwarded to the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) for further review.
“The police have told me that they and the CPS have examined the photographer’s allegation extremely carefully and made the decision that there is no further action to be taken,” Law told People. “Of course I am delighted to be vindicated.”
Law’s new film, “Sleuth,” co-starring Michael Caine, opens in limited release on Friday.
