Judge Grants Britney Spears Three Year Restraining Order Against Adnan Ghalib

A Los Angeles Superior Court judge granted Britney Spears a three-year restraining order against her one-time paparazzi beau, Adnan Ghalib, earlier today.

Britney’s father and co-conservator, Jamie Spears, requested the order.

Ghalib, a British paparazzi, has been ordered not to contact Britney directly or indirectly, and to stay at least 100 yards away from the star at all times.

Additionally, Judge Akiva K. Bobb prohibited Ghalib “from acting on Ms. Spears’ behalf,” or “assisting any other person to take action on Ms. Spears’ behalf.”

The restraining order, which expires March 17, 2012, also protects Jamie, Britney’s mom Lynne Spears, and her sons, Sean Preston and Jayden James.

Ghalib was not present for the hearing on Wednesday.

He is currently out on $110K bail in a felony assault case.

As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com Ghalib was charged with a felony assault with a deadly weapon and hit-and-run last month, stemming from a January 30 incident. Authorities claim Ghalib “rammed” his car into a process server.
