Julianne Hough & Malin Akerman Talk Getting Frisky With Tom Cruise In Rock Of Ages

Tom Cruise’s Stacee Jaxx “Rock of Ages” character is not only a rock star, he’s quite the ladies’ man!

Two of Tom’s onscreen ladies, Julianne Hough and Malin Akerman, spoke to Access Hollywood’s Shaun Robinson about getting hot and heavy with the box office star in their upcoming musical adventure.

“He’s a gentleman, and he’s a movie star for a reason. He obviously talked to me about it before,” Julianne said of filming her intimate scenes with Tom at the movie’s junket over the weekend.

“After each take he was like, ‘That was amazing, that was awesome, that was really funny!’ He gets so excited about what he does and that’s why he is who he is,” she said, explaining that she didn’t mind having to do a shot over if needed. “I kept saying I was messing up. You know, ‘We could do it a couple of more times.’

“I have to say, [I] think he’s way more hot now than I think he’s [ever been.] But then again I like older men,” the 23-year-old, who is dating Ryan Seacrest, 37, said with a smile.

Malin, who plays Tom’s love interest Constance Sack, revealed to Shaun that their racy scenes together – which include an intense tongue kiss – were often extremely funny to film.

“You get in there, you do it right, swirl it around,” she said of her kiss with Tom, which she noted was referred to in the script as, “the tongue-y-est tongue kiss of all time.”

“There was a lot of discussion and a lot of preparation [before the kissing scene,]” she explained. “Once you call ‘Action!’ and you’re in it, it’s like you’re a different person. And then when you call, ‘Cut!’ you turn ten shades of red and laugh. We both laughed.”

“Rock of Ages” also starring Catherine Zeta-Jones, Russell Brand, Alec Baldwin and Diego Boneta, blasts on to the big screen on June 15.
