Julianne Hough’s Phone Sex Confession: ‘I’m Really Bad At It!’

Julianne Hough can
do many things. She can dance. She can sing. She can act.

But one thing she
can’t do – talk dirty over the phone.

“I’m really bad
at it,” Julianne told Cosmopolitan, in a new interview when the mag asked
if she and her fiancé ever partake in phone sex. “I’ll get halfway through
and start laughing.”

In fact, Julianne –
who announced her engagement to Canadian hockey player Brooks Laich in August
on social media – said she welcomes any pointers from those who can hold back
the awkward giggles during those steamy phone calls.

“It’s an art. I
applaud people who are good at it,” she joked with Cosmo. “They need
to come and help me keep a straight face!”

As for how she met
her hockey beau, it was all thanks to… bubble gum.

“I did a
horror movie that never got released. I’m convinced the only reason I was meant
to do that movie was to meet my fiancé. Six years prior, Teddy Sears, my
co-star, tried to invite Brooks – who was a good friend of his – to visit him
in LA. Brooks, who knows nothing about pop culture, joked, ‘What are you going
to do – hook me up with that Juicy Fruit starlet?’ He’d seen the commercial and
was like, ‘Where do I meet a girl like that?'” I was the girl
in the commercial!” Julianne revealed. “Teddy remembered that comment
and texted Brooks, ‘You’re never going to guess who I’m doing a movie with.’”

While phone sex might
not be the couple’s sweet spot, perhaps if Brooks is a “Grease” fan,
he can convince his soon-to-be-bride to do a little role play as Sandy… have
you seen those photos of Julianne in the black leather?!?
