Justin Bieber Asks Screaming Fans To ‘Relax’ During Concert: ‘Take A Chill Pill’

Justin
Bieber is looking for a bit of peace and quiet – even on stage.

The
pop superstar addressed fans at his Birmingham, England show on Monday night,
asking the passionate crowd to calm down in between songs.

According
to videos posted on social media, Justin said the noise was
obnoxious” and “a little frustrating” because he felt it
was overshadowing his effort to connect with the audience.

Can you guys do me a favor? Can you guys just relax for about
two seconds?” he asked, after beginning to share how long he’s been away
from his family and loved ones while on the road.

Justin did assure concertgoers that he understands where they
were coming from and appreciates “all the love” and
“amazing” enthusiasm, however.

“I get it, I get it. But I’m like two feet away from
you,” the 22-year-old said.

“Enjoy the songs, then scream. Screaming is awesome.
Screaming is fun,” he continued. “Then take a chill pill for a second
and just listen to me speak. I don’t feel like I’m being heard sometimes.”

While many attendees kept mum during his message, a few
laughs and boos could be heard as well – but Justin pressed on.

“So when I’m speaking can you not scream at the top of
your lungs? Is that cool with you guys? Can you do that?” he added.

It’s not the first time Justin has expressed his
exasperation with overzealous attention.

Back in August, Justin deleted his Instagram account for
two weeks, following negative comments regarding his relationship with
then-girlfriend Sofia Richie.

“I’m gonna make my Instagram private if you guys don’t
stop the hate this is getting out of hand, he wrote at the time. “If you
guys are really fans you wouldn’t be so mean to people that I like.”

The UK leg of Justin’s “Purpose” World Tour
continues Thursday in Manchester, England.
