Justin Bieber has a Mother’s Day gift for his mom and all the single moms out there.
The singing superstar has released a new single, “Turn To You,” about his mom, Pattie Mallette. All the proceeds will go to help single moms in need.
“Think im gonna release #TurnToYOU for my mom this friday for mother’s day weekend,” Justin Tweeted earlier this week. “The proceeds will go to help other single moms. thanks.”
“You worked two jobs/ To keep a roof above our heads/ You chose/ A life for me no you never gave up/ I admire you/ For the strength you’ve instilled in me,” Justin sings on the track.
The star spoke about writing the song for his mom – who got pregnant with him at 18 – with MTV News.
”[It’s] about the struggles, I say in the song,” he told MTV. “She had me at like the age I am now. [It’s about] just the struggles she went through and how brave she was, and I think the world needed to know that.”
Justin’s next album, “Brave,” where he collaborates with Taylor Swift, Drake and mentor Usher, drops on June 19.
