The Biebs admitted in an interview with Radio Disney’s Candice on Friday that despite recruiting an impressive list of famous friends to count down the release of “What Do You Mean,” there was one A-lister who declined the opportunity.
“We asked the President…we asked Obama and he wasn’t down,” Justin said. “He said he’s got some other stuff he’s got to do.”

Celebs like Steven Tyler, Ashton Kutcher, Hilary Duff, Miley Cyrus and others did take to social media to help build anticipation for “What Do You Mean,” the lead track off the pop star’s upcoming album – his first studio release in three years.
The song and an accompanying lyric video, featuring pro skateboarders Ryan Sheckler and Chelsea Castro, dropped on Friday.

President Obama isn’t the only one with a full plate. Justin said in addition to putting together new music he’s also keeping busy with a new furry friend at home.
“She’s the worst…but the best,” he told Radio Disney of raising a new puppy. “I don’t know how to potty train…so she’s doing her thing all over.”
The Canadian superstar’s anticipated next album is set for release in November. He’ll perform “What Do You Mean” live at the MTV VMAs on Aug. 30.
