Justin Bieber’s Jet Detained On Suspicion Of Marijuana; No Drugs Found (Report)

A private plane carrying Justin Bieber was reportedly held and searched at Teterboro Airport in New Jersey on Friday, after reports claimed officials suspected the presence of marijuana on board the aircraft.

However, according to NBC News, law enforcement sources said there were no drugs found on the plane – which arrived in N.J. from Toronto.

The 19-year-old singer traveled to N.J. for this weekend’s Super Bowl.

Representatives from the Port Authority were not immediately available for comment on the reported incident when contacted by Access Hollywood on Friday.

As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, it’s been a tumultuous couple of weeks for the “Boyfriend” singer.

Bieber was arrested in Miami Beach, Fla., last week on charges of DUI, resisting arrest and having an expired driver’s license.

After returning to his native Canada, on Wednesday, the singer turned himself in to Toronto police for an expected assault charge.

According to an anonymous police source for the Associated Press, the charge stemmed from an alleged assault on a limo driver in December.
