Justin Timberlake Sustains Injury To Calf Muscle While Shooting Sci-Fi Thriller

Looks like Justin Timberlake’s blossoming acting career is starting to “rock his body” – literally.

The talented triple threat, who’s still receiving rave reviews for his performance in David Fincher’s “The Social Network,” suffered an injury on the set of his new film, Access Hollywood has learned.

“Justin Timberlake sustained a muscle injury to his calf on the set of Andrew Niccol’s thriller ‘Now,’” a rep for Fox — the studio behind the film — told Access on Saturday. “Production has taken a brief hiatus and will resume shortly.”

The “Sexy Back” singer is a hot commodity in Hollywood — Justin is currently promoting his latest film, “Yogi Bear” (in which he voices the character Boo Boo), and recently wrapped filming on “Friends with Benefits,” alongside “Black Swan’s” Mila Kunis.

“Now,” which also co-stars “TRON: Legacy” beauty Olivia Wilde, as well as “Big Love’s” Amanda Seyfried and Cillian Murphy of “Inception” fame, is slated for release on September 30, 2011.
