Kacey Musgraves On Grammys ‘Touching’ Wedding Bash

In Kacey Musgraves’ Grammy winning song, “Follow Your Arrow,” the singer encourages people to follow their heart and so it should come as no surprise that she was moved by the 33 weddings that took place at last night’s big awards show.

“That was touching,” Kacey told Access Hollywood’s Liz Hernandez following her Grammys win. “I thought that was really cool. I’m all about just everybody loving everyone and I think there’s room for all kinds of kinds, so it was really cool. I loved Madonna in her Western getup too.”

As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, 33 couples, some gay and some straight, said “I do” during a Grammys medley performed by Macklemore, Ryan Lewis and Madonna, as Queen Latifah performed the ceremony.

Earlier on Grammys night, Kacey performed her hit, lyrics of which include, “Kiss lots of boys/Or kiss lots or kiss lots of girls, if that’s something that you’re into/When the straight and narrow gets a little too straight, roll up a joint, or don’t/Just follow your arrow wherever it points.” And after the Grammys, the country star reflected on her performance.

“We had a very like Mariaichi/electric/western-inspired performance. I had some light up boots. All of our guys had some light up suits – very Porter Wagoner inspired, so it was just so much fun to create and be a part of,” she said.
