Kanye West Blasts Jimmy Kimmel: You’re ‘Out Of Line’ To Spoof Me!

Kanye West is back to Twitter ranting.

This time, the target of his all-caps 140-character anger was Jimmy Kimmel, after the late night host aired a video featuring children reenacting Yeezus’ recent interview with the BBC.

“JIMMY KIMMEL IS OUT OF LINE TO TRY AND SPOOF IN ANY WAY THE FIRST PIECE OF HONEST MEDIA IN YEARS,” Kanye Tweeted on Thursday afternoon, kicking off a 10-Tweet tirade (read the whole NSFW rant here).

Jimmy responded to the bizarre postings via Tweets of his own, telling followers he would share the whole story about Kanye on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” Thursday night, adding that “this is not a prank, I promise (unless it’s being played on me).”

On the show, Jimmy said a furious Kanye had called him demanding an apology after the spoof aired.

“He said a lot of things, he told me I had two choices: number one, apologize publicly, and that was really the only choice,” Jimmy said. “The other choice he gave, was that, ‘Your life,’ he said, ‘is going to be much better if you apologize.’ Then he started tweeting today, and I don’t know if I’ve even seen some of them because they’re happening while we speak.”

The host read Kanye’s Tweets out loud, but had trouble getting through them with a straight face.
“I don’t understand it. I don’t know why he’s angry again,” he said. “The bit was pretty, I thought, innocuous, but finally I’m in a rap feud. I always wanted to be in a rap feud!”
Jimmy said the rapper also claimed to be “the most powerful voice in media.”

In one of Kanye’s Tweets, he hailed Jimmy’s longtime friend Sarah Silverman as “A THOUSAND TIMES FUNNIER” than the late night host.

Sarah joined in on the fun late Thursday, Tweeting, “Look, @KanyeWest is brilliant & @JimmyKimmel is hilarious. I’m certainly NOT 1000 x funnier. I’d say 5 x funnier AT BEST.”
