Kanye West, Kings Of Leon, Arcade Fire & More Tapped For Coachella

Kanye West is headed back to the desert!

The rapper is slated to headline the 2011 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, marking his first appearance at the popular three-day concert since 2006.

Kanye – playing Sunday night (the festival’s closing night) – will share headlining duties with Kings of Leon on Friday and Arcade Fire on Saturday…. completing a trifecta of three acts with the some of the most critically-acclaimed albums of 2010.

The 12th annual festival, playing April 15 through April 17 in Indio, Calif., boasts a stellar crop of artists.

Friday’s lineup also includes The Black Keys, Interpol, The Chemical Brothers, Robyn, Lauryn Hill, Brandon Flowers, Cee Lo Green, Sleigh Bells and more.

On Saturday, Animal Collective, Mumford & Sons, Bright Eyes, Big Audio Dynamite, The London Suede, Broken Social Scene, Paul van Dyk and Scissor Sisters are some of the many great acts slated to take the various stages.

Sunday’s guests include The Strokes, Duran Duran, The National, PJ Harvey, Nas, Jimmy Eat World, Chromeo, She Wants Revenge, and Duck Sauce – plus many others.

Tickets go on sale on January 21 at 10 AM PT. Three day regular passes are $299 and VIP passes are $699.
