Kardashians In The News: Khloe Reveals Weight Struggles, Kim Funds Mom’s Church

Khloe Kardashian may be happily married and about to embark on a new reality show journey with husband Lamar Odom of the Lakers, but even she doesn’t have it all figured out.

In a candid video blog, posted on the reality star’s website, Khloe revealed she has two major struggles in life – letting things build up internally and her weight.

“My other biggest struggle in my life is my weight,” Khloe said in the two-minute clip, posted in response to fan questions. “My weight is always going up and down.”

Like many women, the Kardashian sister said she constantly struggles with her shape.

“I’m always fighting that, and I feel like, no matter what I do, I never look good enough to everybody else,” she said.

Khloe said that she’s managed to come to terms with her body – and be proud of it, but sometimes, words hurt.

“Now, I just have my body to how I like it. But as much as I say that, still, other people’s words eventually do come and hit you hard,” she said. “So, I think my weight is my biggest lifetime struggle. It’s not the biggest thing in life, but it does get you down sometimes.”

Khloe also said in the clip that she would like to be more open about things.

“I wish that I did talk more and let out a lot of my, just little things, ‘cause I think when you don’t, and you internalize, then they build up and then you freak out over even the smallest thing and you have a crying fit or whatever the case may be,” she said. “So I think that’s one thing I could really work on about myself.”

In related Kardashian news, sisters Kim and Kourtney taped an interview for Thursday’s episode of “Piers Morgan Tonight” on CNN and the middle sister of the trio – Kim – revealed she gives a chunk of change to charity when the British host asked her what she is worth.

“Whatever it is, I give 10 percent away to the church and that’s what I was taught… every year, absolutely,” Kim said.

“There’s a charity that I work with a lot, that I donate money all the time,” Kim added, specifying that her donations (which she confirmed totalled in the millions) go to The Dream Foundation.

While the Dream Foundation is a large non-profit, focused on helping adults with life-limiting illnesses fulfill their dreams, Kim added that she also supports a church her mother, Kris Jenner, has a role in.

“And my mom has helped create a church, so we help fund that. And it’s in Calabasas, [Calif.],” Kim added.

The church Kris had a role in creating is the Life Change Community Church, which according to the Ventura County Star, started weekly services on January 10, 2009.

The church is headed up by Reverend Brad Johnson, who married Khloe and Lamar in 2009, a wedding that was filmed for “Keeping Up with the Kardashians.”
