Kari Ann Peniche Responds To Mindy McCready’s Prostitution Claims

Mindy McCready dropped a few bombshells when she sat down with Access Hollywood’s Shaun Robinson last week and opened up about her “Celebrity Rehab” castmate Kari Ann Peniche.

But today, in another exclusive, Kari Ann comes to Access and answers Mindy’s allegations, including that she is a madam and that the former beauty queen once told her she is a prostitute who has worked for celebrities.

“Are you now, or have you ever been a madam?” Shaun asked.

“I’ve never been a madam. I’ve never been a prostitute,” Kari Ann said. “Mindy is the craziest person I have ever met in my entire life. Like, she’s insane.”

From the mouth of Kari Ann herself! The 25-year-old, made infamous after appearing as the third player in the naked Rebecca Gayheart/Eric Dane video, maintains the married couple were not her clients in a prostitution ring, as Mindy previously alleged in last week’s interview with Shaun.

In her interview with Shaun, Mindy claimed that Kari Ann previously revealed who her celebrity clients were.

“She talked about Eric Dane and his wife Rebecca,” Mindy previously claimed.

But Kari Ann denies the claim.

“It’s almost funny,” Kari Ann said. “I don’t know where she gets this s***.”

“So Mindy McCready is lying?” Shaun asked.

“Flat out lying,” Kari Ann said. “She like, stole my hard drives.”

Country star Mindy had very inflammatory things to say about Kari Ann, but these verbal assaults run both ways. In fact, Kari Ann claims Mindy is the one who stole the Dane/Gayheart tape, but that’s not all.

“I know Mindy for a fact… is the reason why that’s out on the Internet,” Kari Ann told Shaun.

Kari Ann alleges Mindy stole the video from her computer and brokered a deal for it to be released. According to Kari Ann, the alleged theft occurred inside her home, where Mindy was a guest after filming VH1’s “Celebrity Rehab.”

Mindy denies the allegations, but still claims Kari Ann told her she was a prostitute.

“To say somebody is a prostitute is libelous,” Shaun said.

“Yeah,” Kari Ann replied.

“Nobody’s suing Mindy for saying these things, these liable, horrible things. Why? … Why is that not happening?” Shaun asked.

“I have no idea. I have no idea,” Kari Ann said. “I don’t know… I have no idea.”

“But what am I going to gain from it? You know?” Kari Ann continued.

“Your reputation,” Shaun said.

“Well, OK, but… how does that fix my reputation? She’s already saying it,” Kari Ann said.

“But if she’s proven to be a liar, doesn’t that vindicate you?” Shaun asked.

“I just think the truth is the truth,” Kari Ann replied. “Karma is like good enough and you know, I mean if it continues then you know maybe I’ll have to do something about that.”
